“I am not ceasing to be amazed by this guitar. It has become my go to guitar in the studio.”

Custom built fine guitars & ukuleles

Today, there are some excellent factory-made guitars on the market. They are, for the most part, predictable in sound and performance. But these instruments are, by necessity, built with a consistency that precludes any compensation for the many inconsistencies inherent in the materials used to build fine guitars. They are built to a common denominator to ensure consistency, predictability, and longevity — a compromise at best. And the customer’s choices are restricted to whatever models they offer.

One of the few areas left in this highly industrialized world where mass production cannot compete is a guitar built at the hands of a skilled luthier. For over thirty years I have been building each instrument one at a time with careful attention to every detail. I work with my clients to determine their playing style, skill level, and expectations before even the first piece of wood is selected. And throughout the design and building process every detail of an instrument is fussed over until it’s right.
